Encinitas National Little League is committed to protecting the health and safety of all players. A concussion is a serious brain injury caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head or body, and athletes should report symptoms immediately. Any player suspected of having a concussion will be removed from play and may not return until evaluated and cleared by a qualified healthcare provider. Parents and athletes should be familiar with concussion signs and symptoms and support a culture of safety on and off the field.
